Acidity is a misbehavior of tummy which if not taken seriously can cause severe issues for tummy and even tummy cancer.
In acidity the person feels sour taste in the throat and burning in the tummy and when burps, it bring sour taste in to the mouth.

One of the reasons of acidity is wrong diet and eating habits. When you drink water or liquids between your meals or immediately after that, the syrup of tummy which has the duty of digesting the food becomes watery and can’t do the digestion process. There for the food remains undigested and gets spoilt.
As a natural behavior, tummy should push the harmful materials out of the body. When acidity happens, tummy struggles to push the food towards the intestines and if it fails, it pushes them up towards the mouth.
So *avoid* drinking water with the food and if you become thirsty use liquid type of foods like curries.
Another common reason of acidity is when the digestion system and especially tummy gradually becomes cold, since tummy needs heat to be able to digest well.
How to cure acidity:
You should keep the tummy warm by avoiding cold type of foods such as: ice, ice cream, black tea, drinking excess water, tomato, cucumber, dairy products, eating sour stuff, overeating, chips, soda and fast foods or junk foods and also white breads.
These interrupts the digestion system and cause damages in a long time.
Until recovering the tummy it’s better to avoid heavy and oily foods such as beef
And we should eat warm type of foods such as oil-less fried sesame (for instant and long time relief)
Honey, nuts, date, whole wheat soups and bread, grape or date syrup, etc
Thyme, cumin and sesame help improving the tummy
Applying olive or sesame oil on the tummy every day also helps recovering the tummy.
