Basically changes in the nature happens slowly.
Human being, animals and plants need time to grow.
So the same way becoming fat takes time, losing weight should happen gradually as well.
According to the Islamic medicine we have two types of fatness: one is warm fatness and the other one is cold flatness.
Those with warm and wet temperament who usually have red cheeks, warm body, big shoulders and body, they have warm fatness. If they have excess fatness in their body, the solution is to avoid having lunch. Only a heavy breakfast and early supper. After a while their body will get shape .
Those with cold and wet temperament which is the most common type of fatness among the people especially women who have become fat after giving birth, the issue is that the acidity in their tummy is in excess. When acidity is in excess, there will be excess appetite.
So their solution is to take warm type of foods which removes their extra acidity and fake appetite and there for they’ll lose their excess fatness gradually, through a healthy way which has no side effects for their body and they’ll remain energetic.
Trust us, these prescriptions saying avoid eating supper or breakfast or drink plenty of water first thing in the morning has no logical basis in the Islamic medicine but leaving breakfast not only has negative effects on the memory and the function of brain, but it increases the weight instead of decreasing.
In case you want to skip a meal, it should be lunch not breakfast nor dinner.
Drinking water in the middle of having a meal makes changes in the quality of tummy’s acids and after a while it causes digestion issues.
