Sanaa Makki is a famous herb that has numerous benefits and it is also mentioned in Islamic sources:
? The holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: “Do not forget about Sanaa and cure (your patients) with it because if there were something to help avoid death, that would be Sanaa.”
? Imam Al Sadeq (a.s.): “If people were aware about the benefits of Sanaa herb, they would exchange one gram of that herb with 2 grams of gold! In fact this herb is a protection against vitiligo, paralysis, madness, leprosy, etc”.
? Sanaa is a good herb for melting excess fat, curing fatty liver, high cholesterol, liver diseases, adjusting hormones, cancers, etc.
? How to prepare it:
?2 tablespoons of dried Sanaa Makki should be placed into a cup of boiling water and left to steep for 10 minutes. It is then ready to drink, but the leaves should not be consumed.
?Sanaa Makki must not be boiled directly.
? Tips and notes regarding this herb:
? Drinking its tea during the day is more effective than at night.
? Using the leaves is more effective than using the powder.
? For babies, one teaspoon is enough.
? Since it may cause constipation, it is better to prepare it with red rose flower. (Add a few leaves of red rose flower to the Sanaa leaves before preparing it).
? The dosage:
? 1 cup, once a week, for period of 4 to 6 weeks. Then once a month after that.
? For specific ailments, like fatty liver, it can be used 3 days in a row.
? The side effects of this herb are almost none and it is not harmful if used according to the recommended dosage.
